Loving the weather

The weather we've had the last few days has been brilliant.

On Thursday I was at the Nature Centre and Canon Hill Park with Jes, Jen, Amanda, Ferni, Kay and three lil gems, Stephanie (Monkey), Emily (Stroppit) and Rebecca (Boo).

On Friday I went shopping with Amanda, Kay and Jen

Saturday and Sunday I was with Amanda AGAIN!

and today I was in the Toby in Kings Norton with Amanda... :P

I've just loved the sun this week and plan to enjoy it til the clouds and rain come back :)

Holidays

This year I'm lucky enough to be going on two "family" holidays.

I say "family" because technically, non blood relations and non married-into-the-family relations will be going. ie people we've accumulated over the years and love very dearly but aren't actually related to in any way... itwould have been easier just to say friends... anyway.

The first is in Turkey. Marmaris to be precise.

The second is in Skegness. Ingoldmells.

I'm actually not sure which I'm looking forward to more. Which is actually quite sad concidering one is a hot sunny country where the hotel will have a pool and a bar and I can probably stay by the pool and bar all day. And the other is in a caravan with no guarantee that the weather will be sunny and it most likely will be cold. Oh well... we brits ey?

The Ugliness Of Adultery

It was last week when my Dad decided to tell my brother he might bring a "friend" to his band's 1st gig... Can I firstly say... Way to make your son remember his first gig...

"Oh I remember that gig..." "Did you play well?" "Oh I can't remember that... I just remember the botch my dad cheated on my mom with being there."

So needless to say I got angry, I've shouted at my father... and I don't know what on earth is going on now.

Remember... Cheating on your wife or husband doesn't just affect you and your wife... it affects eveyone within a 1 mile radius of the family... especially the children.

Amongst My Stupid Decisions...

After a fair amount of alcohol... i decided against sleep to avoid a hangover... i might end up reporting the out come of that tomorrow... but i understand it was stupid... haha!

Mulled Wine in Late January???

Is Mulled Wine something that should be only drank at Christmas... or can it be made, spur of the moment and not in anyway pre-planned *shifty eyes*, at any time of the year you fancy a spicy drink?

Also does anyone know an easy, inexpensive way of making hot spiced cider... i dont fancy killing myself doing it wrong :)

I'm officially an unemployed sponger

The major issue that i've become very aware of, is that the credit crunch has totally screwed over uni students. A friend of mine is a registered nurse... and she is unemployed. There's a nurses shortage for goodness sake!

I have finished uni and i can't get a job. For this reason i find it highly ironic that the damn government want more kids to go to uni... so they can get into more debt... that when they get out of uni they can't pay back because they can't get a job... what a joke!?
